ABOUT ART BEATS
Art Beats are classes for Children and Teens to come and learn and explore various artists from around the world.
My aim is to create a safe space to explore different styles of art using various materials. To enjoy the process, learn and build a personal portfolio you may want to add to over time. The benefits of creating art are numerous.
The classes begin each term with a new artist from around the world. We usually work with two different artists each half term. We look at their work, where they were from, their style and some history about them. Learn the language of Art…. What is surrealism? What is cubism? What is assemblage art? What are the 7 elements of Art? Come and learn at Art Beats. Build a portfolio of creative pieces that your child will be able to educate you about and what they have learned at Art Beats!
At Art Beats I aim to provide a comfortable space to enable imaginations to be stimulated, strengthen observational skills, build self-esteem, inform cultural awareness, refine motor skills and the big one….Reduce Stress!
